Pls help with calibre-web (kobo sync) on docker and arch

I am on arch Linux.

I want to sync my progress on books that I have locally and not from the kobo store, i already convert to kepub so page numbers should not be an issue.

It does not let me access the API URL from localhost and tells me to switch, but I don't know how, so I just removed the python install and instead got the docker image, but I haven't even installed kobo sync on that because I can't figure out how to in docker, pls explain it to me as I am an idiot and have just wasted 3 hours on this.

I tried to link my kobo to calibre web with sync, but it told me to not use localhost. Please explain to me how I can use the docker image(lscr.io/linuxserver/calibre-web:latest) and get kobo sync running from scratch. Please help or link any existing guides. I also need to install kobo optional feature again, and I don't know how to do that in docker (earlier I did it using the official python, but I am switching to docker as GUI helps), so if anyone could take up the time to explain then pls help. Thanks.
