Black Library ebooks now available on Amazon
I've just seen today that Black Library ebooks are now available on Amazon.co.uk in Kindle editions, which is surprising given that they've never been available before, and BL said that they wouldn't be. I wonder when they released them on Amazon? BL didn't given an announcement about and have stayed very quiet about it. I wonder what happened to change their mind? Maybe they realised they can't let potential income streams go without taking advantage of them? It doesn't seem to be the case that BL have released all of their ebooks on Amazon in Kindle editions, but they seen to have started out with the Horus Heresy series and other more recent titles.

Hey, thanks for the heads up. I'm not a Warhammer fan, but some of those Black Library books are good, pulpy fun. I have looked for e-versions of them in the past and wondered why none were available.

They've always been available direct from blacklibrary.com and, weirdly, via iBooks. Maybe they're finally conceding to the reality of the market, as Baen did a few years ago. It'll be interesting to see if they also appear at kobo and Google, and whoever else is left in the ePub space.

Wasn't there some sort of Black Library CD/DVD for free, akin to the Baen Free Library? Or is it me, being confused with something else?

As I recall Black Mask didn't have their CD's for free. They stopped selling them too I believe due to problems from Conde Nast who claimed copyright to many of them. That's another whole topic in itself though.
