Question Search Function problem Kobo Glo

Having a problem with the search function in my Kobo Glo running 3.19.5761. When I press on a word or name and request a search in the book I get many results. The problem is that when I try to select a result, the search function merely returns me to the page from which the search originated. I may get dozens of results from the search but whichever one I select returns me to the originating page. Any solutions available?

How so? I don't use it that much, but any time I have, it finds the word I am looking for. And I have used it a few times this week, and, except for the fact that I can't spell, it found what I was looking for.

Works for me

Just tried it on my Glo, same software as the OP, and it works fine. The little curved arrow on a search results page returns me to my original page.

I wouldn't say search in a book is totally useless, but it's really frustrating that it will only show the first 100 instances of the word in a book. If you could bring up the next 100 by starting search say at page 236, it would be more usable, but only the first 100 entries starting with page 1 will show.

I wasn't saying it was perfect, and that first 100 matches is a good example of why it isn't. But, calling it "useless" is going to far. It has it's limitations, but it does work. And for my fairly limited use, it is OK.

It seems to be working in the book I am reading now. Maybe it is book-dependant... It did not in the previous one...
I use several devices to read my books so I have to search for words to get to the point I left it and it was irritating that the Glo would always take me to the same page I started my search from...
