New Paperwhite 2015 has "specks" all over the display
They're all over. Seems some type of "real paper" texture. Is it just me? How to get rid of it so just pure flat background?

Just the way that eInk displays are. Every eInk screen has them. A "pixel" on an eInk screen is a fluid-filled cell that contains thousands and thousands of little spheres that are white on one side and black on the other. These rotate to display their white or black side when an electric field is applied to the cell, but a few of them don't rotate, and are left showing their "wrong" side. That's what you're seeing.
