The Return by Erin Knightley under the aegis of prolific co-author James Patterson (SYKM, Wikipedia) is a standalone novella in her Sunnybell series of f/m contemporary western romance set in the eponymous small town, this one a second chance reunion romance starring a woman who reluctantly becomes reacquainted with the man who broke her heart during their high school years, when he returns to their hometown to recover from an accident, free courtesy of BookShots, an imprint set up to distribute Patterson's assorted collaboration franchise projects, which are distributed by Hachette's Little, Brown & Co. division in North America and the Random Penguin House in the UK.
