DIY Kindle DXG serial cable

I'd like to know if there is a schematic to make a serial cable for the DXG.

I have a usb to rs232 (F5U103ea ACER),

An nokia 3510 rs232 serial cable with 4 wires
The voltage measured is around Vout=0.1v dc

An nokia 9210 rs232 serial cable with 6 wires
not tested yet.

How can i use this to make a fully working serial cable?

The DX and DXG serial port connection is the same as the K2.
I wrote up the K2 with pictures fairly recently.

Set the forum prefix index to "K2", click the 'show threads' button -
Currently it is the most recent thread.

Note that the K2, DX, and DXG use a non-standard, low voltage, serial port.
But the connection point supplies a reference for the I/O interface.

Translation:
You will want a low voltage to usb adapter that accepts an external reference.

But there isn't much point of my repeating the contents of that thread here.
Just use the prefix filter to find it.

I have created the bootable USB with ubuntu in it and my laptop is 3 years old, so no problem. I have managed to make a backup of the original RROOTFS.dmp of my DXG.
I have found the cable for the nokia 9210 to have an output of around +2V DC when connected to a PC(12V input) RS-232 DB-9 port. Is this voltage low enough or i have to put it down through resistors to 0.7-1.2V out?
After the cable is ok, what are the steps i have to follow to reflash it's original rootfs.img?
