Aura USB Connection does not always work

I have two Aura's. One works flawlessly. The other one has a problem with its PC connection. I tried different ports, different cables, used USB Deview to uninstall previous drivers, uninstall Kobo software from the PC, i just can't figure what the problem is.
I get The last USB device you connected has malfunctioned...
Error code is 43,
Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. More often than not it doesn't(80% of the time).

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Do a factory reset on the non-working device. If that doesn't fix it, take it back as faulty.

Hello. I did a factory reset, and it works the first time i plug it in.. then, it's the old story. I will return it, i guess.

Just Kobo Aura. I guess it's the first one.

I would guess the 2nd one - the naming and release order can be a little confusing.
