Emailed items no longer arrive in my Kindle PW2014

I'm stumped. I've been using Calibre for years. I've never had an issue emailing to my PW2014. But recently I noticed that when I send my self an email from Calibre, it never arrives in my PW2014.

I've checked my settings in Calibre and it passes the email test. But new books/docs never arrive when I sync my PW2014. I've confirmed my PW2014 connects to my wifi, but when I sync, it says no new items.

I'm presently on calibre 2.68/x64. But the problem began in earlier versions a month or two back. I just haven't taken the time to track down the problem.

I just got a new book tonight and tried to send it to my Kindle, but no joy. the job queue says it was sent. I'm not sure how to proceed at this point other than to "cheat" and have the latest book from Amazon sent directly to my Kindle. I'd much rather have it come from Calibre.

Any suggestions?

Win 10 pro/x64.

Edit: I received an error msg from Amazon Kindle Support (auto generated) telling me that my email did not include any attached documents or image files.

I hope that helps nail down my problem issue. The book imported into Calibre without issue.

There already are several posts from other members. It seems to be a widespread problem recently.

As for me personally, I just send my books from Calibre via USB. I want Calibre-generated page numbers, which I cannot get any other way.

Thanks. I obviously didn't look deep enough to find this is a common issue. I'll look around the forum and see what I can find.

Thanks again for the info. I searched out some of the threads and tried adoresReading's fix to no avail. So I used Kovid's excellent FAQ, set up a GMX account, configured Calibre and updated my approved email address on Amazon/Kindle, and now Calibre sends to my Kindle again!

Here's what I posted on one of the other threads:

For the record, I've been having the same email to kindle issue as everyone else. I've just been slack about getting around to trying to figure out the problem. I have a gmail account and I've been using Calibre to send via Amazon to my Kindle for years.

I read the fix offered by adoresReading and tried it on my PC. It did not work and test email failed. So I reset the server settings back to what they were (mostly blank except for Port 25 and Encryption TLS.) Now test email works fine again but I still can't email to my Kindle.

I created a gmx account and set it up per the excellent FAQ by Kovid. I did not have a gmx account before, but it was a simple process to set a free account up and configure Calibre to use it. Just use your gmx email address as both your email and user name.

Now Calibre is working just fine sending books to my Kindle again! And I also changed the delay from 301 to 5. I hope that doesn't get me flagged. I don't send that many books, so I expect that won't be a problem. Also, I did not have to allow less secure apps. So that was a plus.
