Touch difficulties with KA1

Hallo,

I have a KA1, my other ereader is a Kindle 3gen.

I'm having a lot of problems with the touch feature of the KA1: it's difficult to open the book menu (the one with three lines in the bottom right corner), it doesn't open, unless I touch on the left of the three lines.

Same problem with the signals of the foot-notes (the numbers on the upper edge of a line of text): If I touch the number the link to the note doesn't open, so I have to try touching all around the number untill I guess the sensible point (turning the page forth and back at every try).

Same problem underlining the text.

Is it normal such a behavior? Is there a way to fix it? Should I ask Kobo for a replacement of the device?

I noticed a similar problem on my unit. I have to touch slighlty on the left of the icon, in order for it to register.

What firmware version is on the device? A few people have said that this was fixed with the 4.2.x firmware.

I also have the same issue. The latest firmware did not fix this problem.

The new firmware that was released today did not fix this issue for me. Too bad... but the screen responsiveness is way better.
