A Love For All Time by Elizabeth Sinclair is a tie-in short story to her Hawks Mountain series of f/m contemporary romance set in rural West Virginia, this installment giving some backstory as family matriarch Granny Jo reminisces about the love shared with her late husband, free for a limited time courtesy of Southern specialty publisher Bell Bridge Books.

In addition to the short story, this also contains 5 in-character recipes for Southern home cooking, including a carrot soufflé and some cookies and other dishes. We've previously received both the 1st & 2nd novels in the series as freebies in case you wanted to continue reading with those, albeit both were some time ago.

A little by default, but it's nice to get these series-introductory short story freebies instead of the usual glorified chapter excerpt samplers, and this one even comes with bonus recipes written from a worldbuilding-exploring sort of perspective, which is always a nice touch. (I admit I got that Jack Vance's The Dying Earth RPG gamebook bundle mostly because I'd heard that one of the supplements had in-character fantasy-world recipes in it and I was morbidly curious. It did, and they appear to be cookable, though some called for ingredients which were not of this earth and required substitution.)
