Bin firmware extraction
Good evening all,

a question of newbie, is it possible to extract a firmware (.bin) to see what is inside the file ? and to see the tree of these files.

It used to be possible. If you searched the web for pbfwsplit.pl, you could find a perl script that extracted the contents of the firmware update. I remember trying that with a newer firmware release recently, and the old scripts didn't work anymore for me. But, you might as well try for yourself.

Yes, I see the same error for new firmware updates. It seems that they changed the internal structure of the updates. Perhaps some clever Russians figured it out already, and it would be useful to search the Russian PocketBook forum for a new script. I haven't tried that myself yet.
