Graffiti Hack on T5?

Has anybody been able to replace Graffiti2 with original Graffiti on the T5? I'm going crazy having to dot my I's and cross my T's.

Attached you find graffiti1.rar which contains the files for the older graffiti system. Simply put those two files on your Palm and do a soft reset.

Vice versa, if you have graffiti1 and want to try the newer system, you can try uploading the files from graffiti2.rar to your Palm.

If you want to return from graffiti1 to graffiti2, I recommend you perform a hard reset.

And this will work with the T5? I thought I read somewhere that these types of hacks won't work?

Ok, just make sure you got a full backup in case you need to do a hard reset afterwards! --Tad

According to another user I talked to, I installed the G1 hack onto my SD card and then transferred it over using FileZ. After the soft reset, my T5 froze. I tried this again and the same thing happened. I ended up doing a hard reset. I suspected this would happen.

According to Ryan Kairer at PalmInfoCenter:
"For data input on the handheld palmOne includes the standard Graffiti 2. The Dynamic Input area can also be used as an onscreen keyboard. Unfortunately, an old hack to restore original Graffiti no longer works on the T5, which will surely disappoint many stubborn long time palm users. "

Hence, my inquiry here. When someone comes up with a solution for this, I would appreciate a post or email.

FWIW, The ONLY reason I don't have a T5 is this Grafitti 1 problem. It's a total dealbreaker.

My T2 is retrofitted with the G1 files but as a fix it's just barely useable because the character recognition is spotty. Has anyone tried multiple methods of getting Grafitti 1 on a T2? I know there's a Teal solution and a Jot solution and a few others, but I don't want to spend more money unless something works better than the free hack.
