text to speech : suggestions

I would like that in text to speech the word that is reading should be marked, or at lest that the pages turned automatically. I combine normal reading with text to speeach when hiking, and after going to normal reading I cant know where was the last page readed.
thanks !!

As far as the automatic page-turning goes, make sure you have Text-to-speech > Follow paragraphs and chapters option in epub settings turned on. This was working when M3 was released though I tried it out again briefly a few days ago and it didn't seem to be. YMMV. (Addendum: just tested this again and it works fine except when a long paragraph wraps onto the next page. In that case the page doesnt turn until the remaining invisible portion of the paragraph has been read. I didn't notice this behavior previously but it is possible I just missed it.)

I, also, would like to see word by word highlighting as the built-in iOS "speak screen" feature does.

In vertical scrolling mode, text-to-speech with "follow paragraphs" automatically scrolls the current paragraph to the top of the screen (at least until you reach the end of a section) This might work for you but I greatly prefer a paginated view.

Yes, its true it jumps the page when reaching a new paragraph , but I usually read with a big font so the paragraphs are a lot of pages ahead and so I thought it does not turned pages automatically, anyway it should be better that pages turned when reaching the word in the next page not in the new paragraph.
Anyway I enjoy a lot Marvin, the best app!
thank you Solomon!
