You mean like this?
You can STOP (hide) the Content server from showin columa by using the tweaks: ID: content_server_will_display |

What about if in Library A you wanted Languages hidden, but in Library B you didn't. Tweaks are global - aren't they? I know I should suck it and see, but... feeling a bit lazy today. Curious: how do you handle multiple pseudonyms ? And would I be right in thinking your 'penned-as' is a group search on Author(s) and Psudonym...? @whoelzl - in the default view, you can display book details, including custom columns, as a popup by clicking Details. In the Mobile and Old views metadata is shown in the lists produced, as <column name>[value]. BR |

The Book Author is the pseudonym , the column (was) Pseudonym for <real/primary name>. I now ALSO use it for All the Authors of an anthology since more than 2 messes up my simple , filesystem base device {Authors} becomes 'Various' penned as is where you really look for a specific name |

But as of now, you would have to use multiple CALIBRE_CONFIG_DIRECTORY overrides. |

Hiding categories in the Library Manager Tag browser is done from within the Tag browser itself, and it operates at library level. I would have thought most people would want that carried through to the server Front Page. Doesn't bother me because I drive the server from Behind the Scenes rather than the Front Page ![]() BR |

I would like to add my custom column "Read (Date)" to Old View and sort it.
Old view columns (fixed?): Title, Author(s), Rating, Date, Series |

@whoelzl - calibre-server is undergoing a major redevelopment, so the current version won't be enhanced.
FWIW - by default the Date column is the date that the book was added to the library, however if that's irrelevant to you (as it is with me) then re-purpose it to mean 'date read' (you can't change its name). When I add 'books', I clear the Date in bulk metadata edit, I then use it in tracking 'progress' through my 'workflow'. BR |

@BetterRed - thanks
Can you update Date automatically in your workflow to the current date? |

Depends what you mean by automatically.
If you press F2 on any Date cell and then press = (equals sign) that will set the date to Now If you press F2 on any Date cell and then press - (minus sign) that will set it to Empty. They should work in metadata edit dialogue windows, but I do everything in the book list so I'm not 100% sure on that. BR Last edited by BetterRed; 07-29-2016 at 06:01 AM. |
