Manage Cloud Collections from PC or Web

Is there anyway to manage your Cloud Collections from a PC or web browser?

I will often send new eBooks to my partners Personal Documents. This delivers them straight to her Kindle which is great, but it seems that to add them to a collection i need to be on the Kindle itself.

I do this for other relatives as well, and it would be far more convenient if I could create and manage collections remotely.

As far as I am aware you cannot do this.

However, I have collections I share with my daughter, so if I send a book to her Kindle I will also download it onto mine and put it into the collection so that when the book arrives on her kindle it automatically filters into the right collection.

This still needs the use of a physical Kindle or a Kindle app on iPad or android.

That's what I was going to suggest. Put it into a collection on YOUR kindle or iPad, and then AFTERWARDS, send it on to their kindle.

Is this done with Kindle households?

"Household" sharing is irrelevant for this purpose.

The shared books are added to the other person's account.
But collections are tied to the account.

The only requirement for this to work is that both Kindles must be registered to the same account.

Oh right. We have seperate Amazon accounts and would rather keep it that way as we have very different tastes and don't want to receive each other's recommendations etc.

The easiest way I've found to manage collections is to use the kindle app on either an iPad/iPhone or android device. As soon as the book shows up in All Items I add it to a collection via the app then when the book arrives on my kindle (I keep the wifi off so the app gets the book earlier than the kindle) it is filtered into the correct collection.

DH and I share an Amazon account so between us we have over 50 collections as we don't have the same taste in books, our collections are prefixed by our names.

@Paul1977: Then perhaps you want an iPad app with your daughter's account logged in, so that you can pre- set up the collection membership, before you send the book to her kindle.
