Content Server Grouping Question
When using Grouping (series) by first letter. Some of my First Letter lists are over 100 long
When I go to a title to look at the metadata, then return, CC loses its place in the Series List and returns someplace back (but not at the beginning) Is this intended? Could we have a 2 Letter partition if more than 'N" entries? (I am not a fan of the Calibre style from-to 'range'. My eyes are looking for the actual letters. A hybrid? only collapse when the same 2 letters) |

Calibre gives CC the data in "pages". As you scroll through the list, CC asks calibre for the next page when required. I suspect that when you go back to the list the paging mechanism is getting confused. You could test this by increasing the page size in calibre (Preferences / Sharing over the net / Max OPDS items per query) to something large enough to see if the problem goes away. As for the first-letter grouping, that is done in calibre. CC has no say in the matter. As far as I know, the content server doesn't support XX-YY style grouping. |
