Importing from folder on a Mac
I'm not sure if this is the correct forum, so please bear with me.
Once I download a book to my Mac, I open Calibre and use the "Add Books" command to get it. Now I have the source folder set to sort by "Date Added" so the newest book(s) is/are at the top. Sometimes I have a problem with Calibre displaying the newest book(s) at the top or anywhere else in the folder. What I do in that case is use the Finder to open the folder, then drag-and-drop the file from its location at the top into the Calibre window. Any ideas as to why the Calibre "Add Books" function doesn't always recognize the newest added book(s)? Currently I'm using version 2.64 but this has happened in EVERY version of Calibre. This on a Macbook Air with Mac OS 10.8.5. |
