I have a lot of these instances in a book:

How can I find them in Regex and replace with the corrected String?

You might try:

search: ([a-z])\.([A-Z])
replace: \1. \2

Do not use "replace all" at first. Do individual replacements first to see if the search might find strings that do not need to replaced.
