This is the second post (very) recently where Christianbook.com wasn't participating in a Kregel promotion. I'm curious as to what's going on. It may be that Christianbook hasn't participated for quite some time, but I never noticed. Or maybe Christianbook and Kregel are having a little spat along the lines of the Amazon-Hachette feud?

Kregel freebies very rarely show up at ChristianBook, just as DCC freebies rarely show up at Kobo. In all the years that they've been posted on MR, we have gotten exactly one, and it was this one.

So my option 2 was correct: "It may be that Christianbook hasn't participated for quite some time, but I never noticed." ha

Kregel seems to be a small player in the new book business nowadays, anyway. So everything else being equal, their books wouldn't be appearing as promotions as frequently as several other publishers of similar books.
