JailBreak/ScreenSaver for FW 5.7.4?
I had the misfortune of not reading about jailbreaking prior to buying my PW3.

I design covers of the books I read just for fun, they sit unused in a folder.. Now that I know there's a ScreenSaver hack.. oh boy.

I've done about 2 hours of reading and have only found that I'm "SOL" for jailbreaking a 5.7.4.

Is there something I missed, or any ETA on a break through?

Did it come with 5.7.4 or where you hit by a silent OTA update?

I asked because the one we bought last Friday arrived with 5.6.1.1 installed (the PW3 original release).

I'm unsure of what it shipped with when I bought it this month, kindles are all new too me, and jailbreaking (regrettably) wasn't even a thought in my mind - but when I checked the version it was set to 5.7.4.

i wish i had checked and not connected to internet right away

I guess you can return it citing buyer's remorse, if it has no trace of use, within 30 days? (don't abuse the policy, or you might be flagged)
Then, purchase another one elsewhere, or have someone gift it to you
