Post Just got my Glo HD any tips?

Hi all, great to be part of this community. My Kobo just got delivered the other day and I'm already loving life. it's a great little beast, easy to read easy to handle and changed the way I read books.
My only question; do you guys have any tips for me to make this little beast run faster or do more stuff.
I'm a huge fan of jailbreaking/rooting so open to any ideas. If you think jailbreaking Kobo will make it gain anything or boost the speed etc please let me know. or any other tips would be great

Cheers

No need to jailbreak; Kobo have the device very open.

See https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=269574 for discussion on patches.

Use Calibre and the various Plugins for the Kobo

The mnain pluginfor calibre is the Kobo Utilities. See https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=215339

Also check out the ability of the Kobo driver to create and populate Collections (or Shelves). See Kobo_Shelves_and_Collections

Also take a look at the "Instructions for Patching Firmware" sticky. You can do so many amazing things with the patches!
