System dump for Kindle DX Graphite

Hello I have a Kindle DXG Demo unit only and I want to try to unlock it. After unsuccessful attempts to update the firmware to 3.2.1 he ceased to turned on and loaded only in Reset Mode and Developers Mode. Please, share a system image to I could retrieve my Kindle

Hi Force-x,

If you tried to just use the update process, that does not work of course. You need a serial cable and copy the dump as described in the following thread:
[K3]+[DXG] Un-demo information
You can find the 3.2.1 version in a torrent (just google it), however that is the unofficial updated hybrid (with K3) version that has a couple defects (slow wake up time and noise in mp3s).
If there is somebody willing to dump his 2.5.8 version (please PM it to me as well!) that is actually quite simple, just jailbreak (if not already done) and use the program from stangri which is actually in the same thread as the already linked

Beware that one of the partions on a DX/DXG contains use data, and one user who shared his ended up getting his device blacklisted by amazon when multiple kindles in different countries identifed themselves as his device (and somebody even changed his account name at amazon using his cloned kindle info). He promtly unshared it, even though I pointed out that he could share all but that single (text-viewable) partition. If you did receive that partition, do not over-write yours, or risk getting it blacklisted.
