I just saw this on Tekzilla. It's not available yet but we might soon be able to waterproof out readers, cellphone, laptops and whatever else we can think of. Really waterproof! Check out this video:

This is the most amazing thing!! I had to laugh....when he was talking about, when it was available, you'd have to send your device to them...but that it might eventually be available in local stores...Stick with me here can't you just see yourself walking into your local walmart and letting one of those employees do this on your device????

Heaven forbid! I'd have problems sending anything in to be covered but it would be cool if this were an option when you first order an item. $50-75 dollars more to waterproof it before we send it to you.. I'd do it, especially for my laptops which have been rained on in the past.

Oh .... absolutely. I think the companies that make the items should offer this as an option. I'd pay extra to have my goodies shellbacked.

I've seen on TV an iPhone dropped into some water and it worked fine after. So this video using an iPod Touch is less then useless.
