Changing countries in Google Play
How do you go about changing the country in Google Play so you see prices for the country you are in and not the country you used to be in?

I'm guessing here, but it seems likely that your country would be a setting in your Google account.

If you have changed your country of residence, don't forget to update your MR profile!

It's not a setting. You change your address, you change your payment with a card registered in the new country and you still see things in the currency where you originally registered.

IIRC, it doesn't change until you at least partially complete a purchase with the new payment method. I don't think you have to actually buy something, just get to the purchase confirmation "accept and buy" screen, then cancel and see if the store pages have changed currency.

I choose an eBook andget the link with the price. I click that and then I get the cancel or buy links. If I click buy, will I buy or will I go to an accept and buy screen?

I honestly do not know. Did you try just canceling from there and then checking?

Edit: I just tried it on my end so that I'd be looking at potentially the same thing. Did you get the popup with a drop down to choose payment method, and the cancel / buy next to each other in the lower right? I think that's the equivalent to the accept screen on mobile so it should be the same thing. I'm guessing the changeover is supposed to happen when you choose that new payment method on that screen, which should then show your now-local currency.
