Password access to one library?

I would like to be able to lock (i.e. with a password) preferably just one of my libraries so that the children only have access to their library.
Is that possible?

thanks

No. If you are that terrified they will see your other libraries, you are in big trouble, because they can just open the books from outside calibre.

That is what user accounts are for.
And storing world-accessible data in folders outside your home folder and with world read/write permissions.

Not really. You could:

Set up your PC with different STANDARD USER Logins. and put the library under a different user (passworded). Neither user login has Admin rights. You need a third ADMIN account to manage the system.

A simpler choice might be a shirt pocket sized External USB Hard drive that you take with you/lock away
