How do I add only .mobi books?

I have downloaded a collection with books in multiple directories under one top directory. Each book is in 3 different formats, .prc, .epub and .mobi. I only want to copy the .mobi files into Calibre. How do I do that please?

FYI: Today's release adds a feature whereby you can create rules to add only specific files based on filenames.

If you have a little extra HDD space and you wanna dual boot, you can install a Linux Distro along side your XP OS and Calibre will work just fine on it. A light weight distro like Linux Lite is super easy if you're used to XP. 2.52 installs real nice with no problems at all and will do what you need.

You could also dualboot with something like Ubuntu which is also real easy.

You do need to run Calibre on a SSE2 compliant CPU . XP runs on older AMD's that are no longer suitable for newer Calibre (and other programs)
