calibre - save to disk sort pubdate descending

HI,
When there are no series involved I like to have author_sort/pubdate - title/title-author but cannot find anywhere how to change the sort default for pubdate. Reason - I would rather have the most recent book at top of list.
I know need to change sort to 0 but how to code that.

I have spent few hours on this and feel it is so simple but eludes me.

Not critical just a nice tweak.

STD (or STF) is not used to store your real Library
You click the column header to sort (and again, to flip the order)
The sort is not a permanent change to the Library (that is always {Id} order)


Templates control the Export, but SORTING is done on the device (using the devices rules/limitations) {pubdate} is the template, but remember: Some sorts will be mutually exclusive. Invoking {authors} into a series sort with different authors, will play nasty games with the {series-index} order
KISS. Don't try and cram too much into the field/filename they can fight


My device uses filenames or dates for its sorts
so I have 2 top level groups:
00NoSeries/Authors_(author-sort first letter)/{Authors}
Series_(first letter)/{series}/{series_index}-{title}

00 sorts before Aa
