Calibre 2.50.1 connects to hard drive as a device

Since updating Calibre 2.50.1 finds my kdlinks HD720 Media player as a device. The only way i can use Calibre is to unplug my HD720. How can I stop Calibre from seeing the media player as a device? If it is plugged in Calibre won't let me do anything because it is trying to read the thousands of documents on the HD720. This was not an issue before.

Wait until it finishes indexing the device, then use Configure This Device to restrict the list of folders to scan in the future.

I was hoping for a work around. It is still indexing, 4hrs = 2%. Thanks for your help. I'll let it finish.

I guess if you don't want it to look at the device at all, you could disable the Device Driver plugin for your device.

But then you would have to use Connect-to-folder to send books to the device.

The lengthy indexing period seems to be an unfortunate side effect of using Android devices.

Thanks for your input. I just noticed it is reading my kdlinks HD720 as a Pocketbook602. It is just a pain because two of my libraries are on that drive. I may try and go back to an earlier version as I still am not up to 10%.

Just go to preferences->plugins and disable the pocketbook602 plugin.
