nook glowlight plus and file location
It looks like the latest iteration of Calibre corrected the file location from the root Nook folder to add a "My Files" folder, which has helped address the issue of the nook glowlight plus actually finding things folks were currently reading. However, I think, based on <https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=269488 this thread over in the Nook forum, the file should actually be labeled "Books", rather than "My Files". I've done this myself manually, and this seems to have the added benefit of:
- recognizing the actual titles of files and having them appear below book covers on side loaded books - giving people the ability to add side loaded books to stacks/folders. I'm still experimenting, so there may be problems with this that I (and the original poster in that nook forum) haven't found yet, but wanted to note this. If anyone wants to try this out, I've done it by adding "Nook/Books" in front of "Nook/My Files" in the priority list on the "Configure this Device" page. |
