KDE systray icon no longer works

I upgraded to the latest KDE two days ago and now the systray icon no longer works.

They calibre-debug info says:

As far as I know, kf5 still supports the StatusNotifier, so what could be wrong?

Looks like a libdbus library incompatibility

IS there an easy fix or do I need to compile from scratch?

Simply delete the private copy of libdbus in /opt/calibre/lib

Although given that dbus-launch is only used by libdbus if a dbus session buss is missing, I suspect you have bigger problems elsewhere.

THanks, that worked. AS for dbus, I've had this problem for years. It's likely time for a full wipe and reinstall.
