This was a really old thread that was in the Kobo forum. Thought I would resurrect it but over here on this forum.

Anyone know what happened to this addon? Or have an alternative to this? The browser that comes with my Boyue T62+ is ridiculious to use.

Hi. I do believe that is for Firefox which is a browser. I do not know if Firefox can be installed on an Onyx.

Well what I'm actually looking for is a internet browser that's optimised for eink. And reading that may sounded interesting. Not really Onyx related

If you run the a2 / no-flash refresh mode, it makes reading in a browser a lot more pleasant (i.e. it scrolls without flashing, like a tablet).

Thanks, downloaded NoRefreshToggle.apk to see if that would run on my Boyue T62+.

That's for the Nook. It won't work with an Onyx. There is a no-refresh mode developed for the Sony T1 which is more likely to work.

In any case...I believe the Onyx comes with a built-in A2 mode. Try googling it.
