Making an Ottoman Turkish book for Kindle

Hello. I'm trying to decode characters from a file whose extension is "and" in a zip file attached to my thread so as to produce an Ottoman Turkish book for Kindle from that file whose extension is "and". However, I can't accomplish it. Therefore, could you help me produce it, please? Best regards.

The file unzips OK, but is in no format I recognise. I can't find any online information about a ".and" file format.

I suggest you contact whoever you got the file from, and find out what format it's supposed to be in.

If this is "Letters" by Said Nursî, note that since he died in 1960, it remains in copyright in UK and EU (life+70) until 2031.

MobileRead follows life+70, so just to be on the safe side, I've deleted the attachment.

I'm not sure what length of copyright applies in Turkey, it looks like it might be life+50, in which case "Letters" in the original language would have fallen out of copyright in 2011. But if this is a translated edition, you'll need to check on the translator as well.

Hello. There's no copyright infringement of that book in Turkey. Therefore, I endeavoured to decode characters in that file by using Notepad ++, however I couldn't manage to make Ottoman Turkish book, namely Letters. Have you got any suggestion how to produce a book from that file? Best regards.

I suggest finding a different source. As I said, I could make no sense of the file, and I can find no references to a ".and" file format.
