KUAL addons for better battery life?

Hi

Are there ways to make the battery consumption of the Touch lower?
My Kobo went into poweroff after some time, the Touch doesnt do that and needs a long time to boot.

Is there some KUAL addon doing something without touching the snappiness?
I can set the CPU governor but ondemand is the only good setting.

For a technical question, we need the technical details (context).

Using the first four (or six) characters of the Device's serial number and this table:
https://wiki.mobileread.com/wiki/Kindle_Serial_Numbers
determine "which" touch screen model you have (there are six of them).

Tells us what firmware version you are running.

Tell us what all changes / add-ins you have made to it.
The reason for this is that all Kindles **do** enter a power down mode.
That is how they can go for weeks at a time without being re-charged (the battery in the Kindle devices is only good for 2 to 4 hours of run-time (depending) ) .

Run the CPU Report in the CPU Control button - -
In the 'Available Governors' list, see if that hardware/firmware version lists: 'Conservative'.

If not, then the only choice is to use the Amazon 'fix' -
update your firmware to 5.7.<something>
