Recommendations from Kindle Unimited
I treated myself to a Kindle Unlimited subscription for 2016, and I want to get my money's worth. That means I need to read at least $9.99 worth of books from KU each month.
So, I'm looking for recommendations for books which you have enjoyed which happen to be available from KU. I'm mostly a genre reader. I like SF, particularly space opera and anthropological themes. I like mysteries of all types, but not horror/suspense that slips over into the gratuitously cruel and gory. I mostly like paranormal, and really enjoy high fantasy. I don't mind coarse language if it's appropriate in context, but not just shock value. Example, I would expect a drill instructor to berate his soldiers and use bad language. I don't care for long strings of profanity and scatological language. I don't like overtly graphic sexual content. In other words, I like to know *that* two characters had sex, I just don't want the details of *how* they had sex. So, please help me find some books that I am likely to enjoy in the vast library that is Kindle Unlimited. |

First off, go grab a Taste of Tomorrow by Hugh Howey and friends. Or just look at the table of contents in the look inside.
I can pretty much guarantee you will find some good science fiction authors that are in Kindle Unlimited. I also guarantee very few if any typos in that bunch. |

You want mysteries.
Black by Russell Blake. The Jack Daniels series by JA Konrath is good. But I am not sure if they are Kindle Unlimited. I know some of their books are. Also A G RIDDLE for Science Fiction. |

You might like the Frontlines series by Marko Kloos.
For mystery/police procedural/crime most of Ed McBain's 87th Precinct series is available if you haven't read those. Ian Fleming's James Bond books can be fun. |
