Anybody want to buy a Sony ebook gift card?

Best Buy is actually selling Sony ebook gift cards. They sell them online and when I checked stores for pickup today, they were available! Don't forget that the Sony ebook store closed two years ago.

i hope you are NOT actually encouraging people to buy. some may not understand that the sony ebook store has closed.

Absolutely not - I just added that fact to the post. I hope no one actually purchased. Thanks for the reminder.

I wonder if Kobo will honor them? They did take over Sony accounts.

I've let our local Best Buys know just months after the store closed. They've been told about it on their Facebook page. I've heard that several other people have let them know.

Even if Kobo takes them, they shouldn't be selling them, because it just causes unnecessary upset for people to have to scramble to try to find out how (if they can) use them. Makes no sense.

Well, I am one of those who tried to notify them via an email... and all I got back was an automated response.
