Free (Kindle) 8 books from McGraw-Hill Professional [Career, Employment, Life Advice]

As a special treat for jobseekers as well as those already employed who are looking to improve their career and life prospects, there are currently 7 (8 in the UK) titles which will probably help Gentle Readers with that, free courtesy of textbook publisher McGraw-Hill's Professional branch.

These advice guides cover things like dealing with being laid off, polishing up your resumé, handling job interviews, becoming a better manager, having a happy work/life balance, and success when approaching your senior years. All seem to be currently free @ Amazon, but have not popped up (or just flat-out don't exist) in the other stores yet.
  1. How To Get A Job You Love 2015-2016 Edition by John Lees @ Amazon (available to Canadians & in the UK)
  2. Knockout Cv: How To Get Noticed, Get Interviewed & Get Hired by John Lees @ Amazon (available to Canadians & in the UK)
  3. Job Interviews: Top Answers To Tough Questions by John Lees @ Amazon UK (price-drop-check linkage for Amazon main)
  4. Facing Redundancy: Surviving And Thriving by Jenny Rogers @ Amazon (available to Canadians & in the UK)
  5. Manager As Coach: The New Way To Get Results by Jenny Rogers with Karen Whittleworth & Andrew Gilbert @ Amazon (available to Canadians & in the UK)
  6. A Manager's Guide to Self-Development by Mike Pedler @ Amazon (available to Canadians & in the UK)
  7. Happy Relationships At Home, Work & Play by Lucy Beresford @ Amazon (available to Canadians & in the UK)
  8. Live The Life You Love At 50+: A Handbook For Career And Life Success by Keren Smedley @ Amazon (available to Canadians & in the UK)

. . . .
Awesome.

Missed out on the job interview title, though--it had already gone back up in price by the time that I checked.

Not many ratings, but the fact that it is published by McGraw-Hill Professional is testament enough of the quality for me.

You didn't miss the job interview title. As far as I can tell, it's only free in the UK (might drop later in elsewhere, might not).

Thanks. I went back and noticed that the U.S. Amazon link was "price-drop linkage." I suppose that means that if that if the price drops in the U.S., the new price would appear at the linked webpage. It still hasn't dropped, but I'll keep checking.
