Best Ebooks on Amazon?
Hey guys, I just wanted to know if it was possible to view the best ebooks on amazon.com by the 'best category' so that I can see which ebooks to buy?
Thank you. EDIT: This was the exact ebook I was wanting to buy but wasn't sure how to tell if it contained accurate information. I'd REALLY appreciate other mobileread users checking it out with me. "Best" by whose definition? You can view best sellers, but the books which sell the most copies are certainly not the "best" books. What do you personally mean when you say best? The classics of English literature? Something entirely different?

Like Harry says it depends on what you mean by best. I am a mystery reader, and military mystery is the best for me.

Non-reader trying to put together a gift package? A few hints to the receiver's usual reading would help.

Best is in the eye of the beholder.
What genre do you like? Amazon has best seller lists in every category. Not only that even in the same genre you could ask 10 people what they think the best book is and you would get at least 20 different answers. One time I saw a question what is the best certain broad genre book. I asked for more information. His response was see she doesn't know. Someone else pointed out that I needed to know more so I could give an opinion. |

What do you mean by "correct information"? Are you talking about fiction or non-fiction here? If it's non-fiction, buy books written by authors who are knowledgeable in their fields, published by reputable publishers.

You still are not clear. What would be incorrect in Kindle eBooks?

But there's no objective way to determine that a Kindle book contains true information. Tell me the book, and I could take a look and say whether, in my opinion, the information was true. I might even be able to say whether the majority of experts in that field would say the info was true. But I could be wrong and experts can be wrong. Truth is tricky. (But if it says XXXXXXXXXXXX* or XXXXXXX* then it's rubbish.) *struck through to avoid topics best left to the P&R forum! |

Stopped looking at reviews ages ago, mostly because "couldn't put it down" = badly written and lots of predictable stuff happening. However I quite enjoyed books that were deemed mostly "boring and too complicated"

Fiction is just too subjective for reviews to really be useful. Non-fiction, I will read the reviews and sometimes write one. A good example would be a cookbook that was pretty much titled "An American Cookbook" All 15 reviews raved about how great it was to finally have a book of American recipes. Problem was the first recipe was Vietnamese Fried Rice and the second was Indian Couscous. Matter of fact, it was a decent Asian cookbook. |

Thanks for all the replies!
This was the ebook I was about to buy. Can someone please tell me how I can be certain that it contains correct information? What process do people here do when trying to see if an ebook on the Kindle Store has accurate information? Link: http://www.amazon.com/Anabolics-E-Bo...M?tag=mr060-20 |
