Looking for cheap one

I'm not a rich person, so I can't afford high priced e-ink reader, but I need one to read lecture notes which are in pdf format, so, it's ok it has even a 10 sec refresh delay, I just need it to be bigger in screen size, bigger the better (other wise I will have to waste a lot of time zooming in, reposition etc) and also more whitish background. refurbished or used one also ok. China should be making very low cost replicas, replicas also ok with me, I just want to read it without eye strain. I don't need any features, just display a pdf page by page is the only requirement for me. I have a touch screen phone which can read PDFs but the display is 2.5x4 inches, so it's not adequate at all and it can't read many pages without getting eyes hurt. I'm from Sri Lanka. please suggest me few with sizes, prices, buying locations. Many Thanks.

Maybe the new Amazon Fire tablet for $49.99?

ETA: it's a 7-inch screen. Obviously, a larger screen woul be better for PDFs, but if your eyes are good, it might work for you.

You might want to browse through AliExpress and look at some of the 10" Android tablets; for PDFs the larger the display the better.

I have just bought a Bebook Pure from Aliexpress. I paid $48.40. Unfortunately the price has gone up tp $60.00 (free airmail postage to Sri Lanka), but I think it is still good value.

After placing the order, it was delivered about a month later. As you can see from the Aliexpress website, the screen is 6 inches in height. You can read several formats: pdf, epub, .mobi etc. Registering with a bookseller is not compulsory. Obviously the reading experience is not as good as with a Kindle Paperwhite, but it is very good value for money.

It is $39 today. It is a BeBook 6 inch diagonal.
