Calibre and windows 10
I have upgraded to Windows 10...when i plug my kindle into my pc it takes a long time to load books...it will not let me drag downloaded books to calibre library...it used to be great...

It is something with your system. It is not Windows 10. I run Calibre & Windows 10 and drag/drop works. Loading eBooks on a Kindle and my H2O are not slow.

Sorry I don't have a solution. Just letting you know that it's a software issue of some kind that's not normal.

It works fine for many (including me) on W10 pro

I suggest you:
make sure all W10 updates were successful (check the update log)

You might launch: sfc /scannow from the admin console
