Calibre is not immediately detecting Samsung Galaxy Tab 4

I just upgraded to calibre version version 2.36 and had problems getting it to detect my Samsung Galaxy Tab 4. Restarted calibre in debug mode and also went to preferences>misc>device debug & have following response.

Restarted calibre and finally detected my Samsung. Having to do this every time I use calibre since latest update. Missing the auto detect that previous versions had.
