This is the featured Free Book of the Week in the iTunes AU & NZ stores, and seems to be also offered most places worldwide. NB: although this is technically listed as an adult-level fantasy, reader comments seem to suggest it tilts YA-ish, or at least can be easily given to those in that readership category without any major content concerns. Also, don't read the customer reviews unless you really want to be spoilered for the entire outcome of the plot.
