Handwritten Notes on tablet device?

Hello everyone, I've got an iPad and I just wanted to know how the writers on here create handwritten notes. I'm very new to writing so I know every writer on here has much more experience than me.

I REALLY miss making handwritten notes.

Thanks!

See here and here.

I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself. ... I know, I should have tried harder.

A device w/ a capacitive touch screen is not really suited to handwritten notes --- the lack of palm rejection and accuracy issues.

There are some styluses which purport to make this workable, but I've never tried them.

You're far better off w/ an active stylus --- Apple has just announced one, the Apple Pencil which is an add-on for the new iPad Pro.

Or, get a tablet w/ an active stylus / digitizer such as a Samsung Galaxy Note (they own a stake in Wacom, a long-time maker of graphics tablets) or a Windows tablet (I have a Toshiba Encore 2 Write 10 which is well-suited for note-taking).
