Seriousness Diabetes warning signs

In case anyone wondered why I posted the op of this thread I saw a posting over at Facebook for a little 4 yr old girl who was thought to have some bad flu. It wasn't til after she went unconscious that it was discovered she had diabetes with a blood sugar of over 1000. She died earlier this month from complications from that high blood sugar. Vigilance saves lives.

Good to know. Awareness of the signs of Diabetes is important as prompt treatment is essential.

Crich,
One of mycousins can no longer drive due to a stroke caused by very high blood sugar.
I know several people that have lost their feet. And one lost his life. He was insulin dependent.

I know how that is. I am also insulin dependent. Have been since Feb. of 1999. So far I've been lucky to not have too much wrong besides trouble regulating my sugar levels.
