I'm am'ericain and in the opposite situation from you: Je parle le fran,cais comme une vache espagnole, but I can read and understand it assez bien ... except for slangy words like jacter, which I had to traduire `a coups de dictionnaire.

I hope you'll enjoy using MobileRead; there are lots of helpful people here to answer questions about eReaders, eBooks and programs like Calibre.

There is also a French-language subforum, if you need it.
