Right side cut off - Glo HD

Hello everyone,

I d/led a book from Kobo: 'The Atomic Times: My H-Bomb Year at the Pacific Proving Ground' (it was free) directly to my device and the right side of the page is cut off. Changing the font size/font does not help.

I have a Glo HD with v3.17

This hasn't happened with any other book, I usually use epub format books.

Any ideas?

BTW: there is no Glo HD prefix in the message composer.

Do you have any patches or configuration file updates applied to your Kobo?

BTW: there is no Glo HD prefix in the message composer.

can you post am image please so we can better diagnose the issue

Using the current beta build I see no issues with that book. Can you describe your font settings?

It looks fine on my Glo HD as well. Until I turn the "Show headers and footers" option off. In that mode it has the commonly reported problem of going past the right edge of which matches the OPs description.

But I thought that option required a manual change to the configuration file which I thought the OP had not done.

I have the same issue with kepubs, when using full screen mode on my Aura.
GeoffR made a post and a patch (`Fix kepub side bearing font cut-off bug`) for this issue, works good for me.

Thanks everyone,

I did not consider adding a line to the config file a patch. I did indeed add the no header/footer config entry. This is the problem. So, to read this book without the cutoff right side I have enable the headers and footers. Great stuff.
