some suggestions
I also got myself into a similar situation by playing around with too many firmwares without fully understanding the process.
The threads that helped me: 1: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=254042 Especially RK 2.1 tool (first post) 2: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=245888 Especially point 6. BUT I used the tool mentioned above (middle tab - "Upgrade Firmware") to flash the full firmware image file. OR if you can still use adb: "adb boot boot-loader" and then only flash the system.img with the first tab ("Download Image") OR when the reader is switched off. Hold the refresh button in for 8 seconds and then insert the usb cable (this should get it in "boot-loader" mode) OR on some firmware if you keep both the refresh and power buttons pressed it enters "download or boot-loader" mode. Hope this helps... |

I had my T62B in a boot loop as well and it couldn't be turned off. Hubby messed with it and got it in the proper mode by pressing the refresh button and using a pin in the reset hole while usb connected. I used the RK batch tool in the first post here https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=245888 I applied the latest update after and it now uses 45% battery in 24 hours so I have more work to do. But at least I'm not boot looping anymore

the tip about refresher button to hold it for 8 sec did the trick for me .I'm running the Energy eReader Pro + firmware 2.0.0B from last month on my reader. I rooted it and installed titanium back up and froze few services that were running in the background its great Energy eReader Pro + firmware 2.0.0B and the android services I froze giving me some good battery life.
