Aura HD top of the screen 1cm below

hello all,

I picked my AURA HD after month of not using it and I found a strange behavior

the top 1cm of the screen act like if it was the cm below. meaning, if I press on the home button, it gives me the below option, but the rest of the screen is working normally, only the top bar is misbehaving

any one would have a suggestion as what to do ?

I have reset to factory default, upgrade to 3.17, reboot a hundred time...

thx

My son's Glo was doing something like that. When I looked, there was tiny piece of paper stuck in the corner under the bezel. Cleaning under the bezel is a frequent fix for this sort of problem.

thanks Davidfor for this reply,

I had found on this forum the info about cleaning the side of the tablet so I had remove the full front cover and clean all around.

I have now recover the home button, top left. I am still having problem with the top right side of the tablet.

what I don't understand is how come pushing on the top activate the option 1 cm below, but pushing one cm below is working as it should. I mean, it is not a complete shift for all the tablet, it is only the first cm that is affected

I guess it's related to the fact that the Aura HD uses an infrared layer, and blocking part of the layer results in this. The layer "one cm below" is not blocked, so there's no reason for it to misbehave.
