Marlow is the 2nd in her Circle C Milestones series of YA historical western adventure/drama novels set at the eponymous family ranch in California's San Joaquin Valley in the 1880s, this installment an action suspense-leaning tale where the youngest daughter of the Carter family must prove herself on a cattle drive which starts to go wrong as suspicious types who've been following the herd begin to close in, free courtesy of Christian publisher Kregel.
