Quarter Share, the first book in Nathan Lowell's wonderful Solar Clipper/Trader series of SF, Coming of Age books is FREE on Amazon. The second and third books in the series are $0.99 as well. Unfortunately, I only spotted it today (November 8th), and it's the last day. Grab them! They're a real pleasure, and a great price. (Don't worry if you don't have a Kindle -- they're DRM free, so you can easily convert them.)

Go look anyway, if you are interested -- it still showed as free at noon, Nov 9. Maybe the $0.99 ends on Nov 8 but not the free one? I got it for free.

You're welcome. And you're right, the sale prices are still there. These aren't long books, and there's no one getting blown up. They're just good books.
