Frozen Aura

My month-old Aura has frozen. It started yesterday when it would not wake from sleep - it had about 60% power at the time. I did a reset, and it worked until I changed chapters. Now I have tried several resets including what I believe to be the hardware factory reset. It would progress part of the way through the reset and then freeze. Currently I have a blank white screen. The LED by the switch will light up, stays on for about 10 seconds, then goes off.

I left if on a charge overnight. Nothing new this morning.

I am running standard 3.15 firmware and mostly use epubs and converted kepubs from calibre.

I have an e-mail into KOBO customer care, but any advanced help would be appreciated.

In case anyone is interested, KOBO responded quickly with instructions for reset / factory reset, which sadly did not work. Next they asked for pictures (to make sure I did not smash my Aura) and proof of purchase. I have sent these off.

I am happy with the speed of the replies, now I hope they follow through and offer me a replacement quickly. I miss my Aura, but am reading on the old WiFi for now...

Sooo... Kobo is sending a replacement for my Aura. Last night I decided to push the start button one more time - and my Kobo came to life in "restoring" mode! I was pretty happy, and I got everything re-set up and was ready to write to Kobo that I was back in business and reading, and it locked up again. First it locked on a page, I did a reset and then it locked when I tapped on the book on the home screen. Reset again, and it when to the 5 squares on the screen, but they stopped moving, and that is where it is right now, 20 hours later.... and it does not respond to button presses or further attempts to reset. So, I will wait for the replacement.

Overall, I think customer service has been pretty good. I hope they follow through!
